Rich Davis grew up in Billerica, Ma and now resides in Chelmsford, Ma. He graduated with a bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. After spending ten years as an accountant he decided to change his career to become a teacher. Coming from a family of teachers, his passion for teaching started after working as a substitute teacher in the Billerica school system. He spent the first three years of his teaching career at Dracut High School in Dracut, MA.  He then moved his family to Greenfield, NH and taught at Conval High School in Peterborough, NH for the next thirteen years.
Rich enjoys spending most of his time as a father, taking care of home life, and being active with his daughter and son. During his spare time, his interests are in Boston sports and adding to his memorabilia collection. Being new at the school, he is looking forward to being able to watch and support all of the talented students at Granite State Arts Academy.  Rich truly believes that every student can be successful in math and looks forward to using his teaching experience to help students obtain success in the Mathematics State Standards while using his business experience to emphasize the importance of mathematics in their lives.
