Private & Semi-Private Lessons

Back

Back Why take private lessons?

There are many benefits to receiving private instruction. Students will receive individualized attention that would be harder to get in the classroom environment. This intensified instruction provides the student with what he or she needs to take their craft to the next level.

Attention is given to technique, theory, and musicality--all essential to a growing musician. Even for an advanced player, private lessons will refine and progress current abilities. No matter what playing level, or age, there are life long benefits of playing a musical instrument. Some of these benefits include, but are not limited to:

  • Improved self-confidence and self-esteem
  • Improved fine motor skills
  • Increased neurological connections in the brain
  • Improved short-term and long-term memory, focus, reading comprehension, and mathematical understanding
  • Development of discipline and a strong work ethic
  • Teaches perseverance

Semi-private lessons are also available.
Currently, we are offering lessons in the following areas:
  • Drums
  • Guitar
  • Piano
  • Voice
Private lesson pricing is determined by the teacher and ranges between $25 and $30 per half an hour. Semi-private lessons are $20 per half an hour. Classes
Sound is a valuable part of life. Music fuels our emotions, our feelings, and our memories. Recorded audio pours into our everyday experiences, whether it's an intense action scene in your favorite movie or wild sound effects in a space age video game. Have you ever wondered how it's done? In this exciting course, students will learn the fundamentals of recording audio. In a creative, open environment, Audio Production I introduces proper use of recording equipment, how to mix music and audio, and offers hands on experience in the creation of one of humanity's greatest treasure: Sound!
  • Audio Recording
$200 for non-GSAA students
