Mike Logan was born on Andrews Air Force Base in Washington, D.C. He currently resides in Fitchburg, MA. Mike graduated from Boston University with a BS degree in Photo Journalism, from Simmons College with a MS degree in Library Science and an MBA from the University of Lowell. He is a recent retiree but his love of teaching still burns strong in him and although retired still continues teaching. He spent the last 20 years of teaching at Lawrence High School in many subjects, mostly math but also English and Biology.
He was a co-founder of Seven Hills Charter School in Worcester and is happy to be part of a charter school again. In addition, he has taught for thirteen years at Wentworth Institute of Technology, mostly business classes with an emphasis on professional communication.
He is the father of three sons, grandfather of three granddaughters and two grandsons, great grandfather of one great grandson and loving companion of two dogs.
He has four passions in life.
The first passion is skiing. He has skied all over the world from Valle Nevado, Santiago, Chile to the Alps of Europe, the Rockies of the United States and Canada as well as virtually every mountain that New England has to offer.
The second passion is the New England Patriots. He has worked for the Patriots for over thirty years; having been with them in both the bad and good years.
The third passion are his two dogs, Nugget and Kronos, both rescues.
The fourth and most important passion is making people laugh. No, he is not a professional comedian, but believes learning is much easier if you feel happy and relaxed in class.
