Katrina Wiesner
Science

k.wiesner@gsaanh.com

Ms. Wiesner grew up in Bow, NH and attended Bow High School. She went on to study Biochemistry at Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, VT, where she worked as a teaching and research assistant for general and organic chemistry. After graduating, she worked in the industry as a quality control technician for a nutraceutical company, and as a pharmacy technician at a compounding pharmacy. After about two and a half years of industry experience, she decided to change her career path and pursue teaching.

Ms. Wiesner is very excited to be teaching science at Granite State Arts Academy as she was a competitive dancer growing up and loves music, dance and the arts. She believes there is a lot of intersectionality between science and the arts, and hopes to make her courses engaging by offering a lot of hands-on experience and interdisciplinary perspective. In her free time, Ms. Wiesner coaches swimming at a private high school in Concord, NH, and enjoys swimming, biking, hiking, dancing, skiing, movies, and time spent with family and friends.
