Your annual contributions help keep GSAA growing!
Our teachers and families have created a vibrant academic and creative community that offers New Hampshire families an important educational alternative. This year, our students hail from 32 different towns in New Hampshire — we are filling a real need. How important is Granite State Arts Academy to your family?
Why do we need to raise money every year?
In New Hampshire, charter schools are public and funded by the state, but they are funded at a much lower level than traditional public schools. This means charter schools must make up the difference in funding themselves.
We depend on your annual family contribution to survive.
The State of NH gives on average $14,000 per student to traditional schools. Charter schools receive far less. As you may know by now the state has agreed to contribute an additional $1,000 dollars per student to help with education costs bringing the total to $7,047 per student. However, we are still short an average of $8,000 per student compared to what the regular public schools receive for education.
Where does your money go?
Granite State Arts Academy’s budget is lean. Family contributions like yours and fundraising pay for critical operating expenses.
How much do we need?
Stewardship Tier -- $ 1250
Leadership Tier -- $ 750
Patronage Tier -- $ 500
Partnership Tier -- $ 300
Money isn’t the only way to help us build into the future. “In kind” donations of time, organizing a fundraiser, offering a service, donating needed items, or chaperoning are all helpful. Visit our Volunteer page for other ways you can give.
Your time and talents saves the school money which can be reallocated for use somewhere else.
Clearly, your students are enjoying school and they are thriving in the creative culture we have developed. We hope you will consider taking part in some way. This is, after all, your school. Help us make it everything it can be.
